The Bacille Calmette–Guérin (BCG) is the only vaccine which can currently counter tuberculosis. BCG is an M. bovis attenuated strain that was developed culminating the 13 years of continuous in vitro research. A pap smear test is used to screen cervical cancer in a woman. Women aged between 21-30 years should have a pap smear test every other year; if more than 30 and has three normal PAP tests in a row, then the frequency can be changed to every three years.
